The Tiger who came to tea is a brilliantly funny, wonderfully illustrated children’s classic. if you haven’t read it then you MUST!!
Families have flocked to Wolverhampton Art Gallery to see the exhibition the Tiger Who Came to Tea. The exhibition which is on until the 29
September has seen visitors increase by 29 percent. Visitors can read stories in Mog’s cat basket, play with the interactive displays and have tea with the tiger. Children can take part in the tiger trail which runs throughout the gallery, and includes a prize for taking part.
You can finish the summer holidays by joining in the tiger tea party on Saturday 1 September between 1PM and 3PM. Children can bring along their favourite toy and hear Judith Kerr stories read by storyteller Sue Mason. Youngsters can have their face painted and take part in the mask making and bag decorating activities. Also Gazebo Theatre will be running an interactive performance starting at 2PM.
