Review: Gold Stars Activity Workbooks

Share

Gold Stars is a premium range of activity workbooks for children, designed to reflect the national curriculum and created in conjunction with educational consultants.

To celebrate 10 years of Gold Stars, they have recently redesigned the whole range to include 30 activity books boasting brilliant new colourful designs and new activities to engage children from pre-school through to Key Stage 2.

We were sent some to review and I have to say they completely engaged my children who loved getting a star after completed work. They  adored how learning was made fun through quizzes and puzzles, bright colours, fun images and a huge amount of variety.  I try and encourage my children to do workbooks at least once every two days throughout the holidays as it keeps their writing reading and math skills up to speed and they don’t then lose what they have learnt. With books like Gold Stars making learning so much fun it is easy to get then to have a go.

When their dad finishes work I encourage them to show him what they have done and they proudly show off what they have completed. These are really feel cgood bright fun books to learn with. I am very impressed.

Again it was very visual and really well set out.

My kids enjoyed learning this way and I loved seeing how they got on. We will definitely continue to use these books. They retail between £3.99nd £7.99 and are a positive and  fun educational aid.

(The older books don’t come with stickers but in my view big kids do like stickers too so I got my own!)
