What’s your favourite?

I love this poem by John Betjeman on the transcending power of love; In a Bath Teashop. Do you know it?

IN A BATH TEASHOP

Let us not speak of the love

we bear one another-

Let us hold hands and look

She, such an ordinary little woman;

He, such a thumping crook;

But both, for a moment, little lower than the angels

In the teashop ingle-nook.

Have you ever had such a moment? I know I have and it makes me tingle to remember it. This I am sure is the mark of a powerful poem
