One Kiss, One Hug (A Perfect Valentine’s Day Book)

Oh what a sweet book this is! Baby bear Ben cannot get to sleep and up and down the stairs his parents trudge giving him one last hug and one last kiss (many times). Such a recognisable scene, parents everwhere will be able to relate to this!

One Kiss, One Hug

Mummy and daddy bear get increasingly weary and eventually, inevitably, Ben wakes up his baby sister. I won’t spoil the gorgeous ending but it is rather lovely and I’m sure you will say ah! Jason Chapman has written a really heart warming story here. The pictures are full of love and emotion and the whole book shows some really special relationshiops. Definately a book to celebrate the family. Even mummy and daddy bear are trying to squeeze in a snuggle!

This book was published last week by Red Fox Picture Books (Random House) £5.99

  1. hmm. This book didnt’ grab me as much as you. On a very similar theme I prefer Can’t you sleep? , but I think One Kiss One Hug would be great for families with twins or siblings near in age.
