Ladybird : Free preschool reading advice line on June 2nd

This half term Ladybird is supporting reading around the UK by hosting storytelling sessions in bookshops, libraries and children’s centres supported by a free storytelling pack from Ladybird.  

They  are also providing support and advice for parents by launching a dedicated helpline and email address so that parents can speak directly to our educational experts for advice on reading with their children.  This will be available from 8am-8pm on 2nd June:

Parents can ask questions on when to start reading to babies, which books to use to support school curriculum, how to encourage reluctant readers, how to make bedtime stories exciting, whether to introduce children to apps and ebooks etc etc

Ladybird are also running storytelling events in conjunction with Picture House cinemas across the country during June which feature 4 celebrities who have been filmed reading our a selection from our First Fairytale range.
