Book at Bedtime competition for 7-12 year olds

 Silentnight Beds ‘Book At Bedtime’ competition is back. Now in its fifth year, the search for the next generation of J.K. Rowlings and Roald Dahls has begun.

The competition is open to children aged seven to 12 years. Entrants can upload their stories at  www.silentnight.co.uk/bookatbedtime Silentnight and award winning children’s author, Jeremy Strong, will choose the top ten stories which will then be recorded by Jeremy and broadcast online for the nation to hear.

Britain then has the chance to listen to all ten runners up and vote online for their favourite story.The lucky winner’s book will be published and they will be treated to a night for the familyin the Silentnight Pyjama suite at Alton Towers with tickets to the Alton Towers theme park.

All ten finalists will also win a Silentnight bed, perfect for a well-earned rest after all thatwriting!

The stories this year must detail the adventures of Silentnight’s very special characters,Hippo and Duck! These two friends have long represented Silentnight and this year they are set to become bigger than ever with the help of Book at Bedtime entrants.
