Silk Competition – 10 copies up for grabs!

Share

This week I reviewed Silk by Rupert James in my opinion a top bonkbuster. Fanatstic news we now have 10 copies to give away! Here’s the review in case you missed it……..

Silk by Rupert James

I loved this big, bold, ballsy book. Full of fashion glamour and intriguing legal and illegal drama. It was very 1980’s with shared lovers, immense riches and all those toyboys. I loved it! Very ‘Jackie Collins’ but quite a bit more ‘London.’ Brilliant and utterly addictive – perfect for winter evenings or by the beach.  Strong sassy woman, romances, mother daughter tensions and drugs, violence, parties  and pretty dresses.  great stuff!
Competition:
For a chance to win one of 10 copies of this great book just tell me your best fashion high (mine has to be matching illumoious gloves and leg warmers in the lovely shade of lime!) oh yes and PLEASE leave me your contact details or I can’t let you know you have won!

Oh yes, my fashion high, hot pink puffer windcheater with matching pink knit tube skirt warn with white lace pantyhose, strangely I can't recall what I wore on my feet, but I doubt it could have redeemed the outfit.

Hmmm my fashion high was probably as a child going swimming with my cousins. My grandma dressed us all in the same blue flowery swimming costume so she could spot us all. Now this may have been fine if it was 2 of us but there were 6 of us.

My red fishnet stockings and red stilettos with a mini skirt must've looked a real sight! Especially when I wore them to go to Tesco's!!! Don't judge me too harshly though I was a teenager in the 80's!!!

Culottes – they're not skirts and not shorts so what are they and I personally think they look awful. I'm sure I've seen a couple making a comeback. NO!

I had a pair of shoes I absolutely loved when I was about 10. My mint green moon boots, in their shiny glory! Sadly I dropped my bowl of custard on them one lunchtime at school, so they had to be thrown out 🙁

When I was (much) younger I wore a sintight leopardskin jumpsuit, teamed with black patent leather stiletto heel boots – felt fab until I caught my heel in the pavement and broke off one heel and and to hobble all night!
